Work in progress Nebulosa primitiva de flores y pan explora cómo la materia cristaliza la memoria y cómo ciertos materiales —pan, perfume, cerámica, madreperla— pueden funcionar como recipientes del tiempo. Fermentación, fosilización, putrefacción: cada proceso deja constancia de su paso. La masa al levedar respira, como en un acto reflejo del universo. Nebulosa primitiva de flores y pan explores how matter crystallizes memory and how certain materials —bread, perfume, ceramics, mother-of-pearl— can function as vessels of time. They ferment, burn, evaporate, fossilize, rot: each process records the passage of time. As the dough rises, it breathes, like a reflex of the universe. An apotropaic after-dinner gathering pushes the project beyond its bounds into a feminist, horizontal practice. Me lo dijo un pajarito es una instalación compuesta por fotografía, escultura y vídeo, en la que el paisaje íntimo se entrelaza con el paisaje exterior. El proyecto se despliega como una ficción en torno al meteorito de Söderfjärden (Ostrobotnia) y explora cómo los impactos —reales o imaginados, físicos o emocionales— pueden transformar un territorio o un cuerpo. La observación de aves, el sol de medianoche y las prácticas de radiestesia se convierten en anclas dentro de un estado de ensoñación errante, donde los tiempos y las escalas se difuminan: lo doméstico se vuelve cosmos, y lo minúsculo, territorio inabarcable. La instalación abre un espacio en el que el asombro, la magia y el juego actúan como formas suaves de resistencia a la lógica de la producción: un campo de quietud en medio del ruido, que retorna una y otra vez a la pregunta: ¿Estoy soñando? A Little Bird Told Me is an installation composed of photography, sculpture, and video, in which the intimate landscape intertwines with the outer one. The project unfolds as a fiction around the Söderfjärden meteorite (Ostrobothnia) and explores how impacts —real or imagined, physical or emotional— can transform a territory or a body. Birdwatching, the midnight sun, and dowsing practices become anchors within a drifting state of daydreaming, where times and scales blur: the domestic turns into the cosmos, and the minute into boundless territory. The installation opens a space in which wonder, magic, and play act as gentle forms of resistance to the logic of production: a field of quiet within noise, returning again and again to the question: A partir del éxtasis vivido una tarde a la orilla del río, surgió la idea de La Ternura, un proyecto que invita a repensar la relación de cuidado entre humanos y naturaleza. La investigación retrata la naturaleza como “recién nacida” mediante una instalación que fusiona escultura, música, vídeo, arte decorativo y performance. A través de elementos evocadores —como flautas de arcilla en forma de bebé, nanas y destellos lumínicos inspirados en el río— se configura un espacio íntimo y apacible en el que la atmósfera de una habitación infantil se entrelaza con la del bosque. From an ecstasy experienced one afternoon on the riverbank, the idea for La Ternura (Tenderness) emerged—a project that invites us to rethink the relationship of care between humans and nature. The research portrays nature as “newborn” through an installation that brings together sculpture, music, video, decorative arts, and performance. Esta exposición es el corazón de la tesis titulada Ídem de ídem: Metaficción de la investigación artística en el ecosistema insular. Una investigación artística que otorga al formato libro —la tesis— la condición de pieza artística desde la que articular una investigación en torno a los conceptos de metaficción e insularidad —el aislamiento/interconexión propio de las islas—. Desde este espacio se fundamenta la creación de un paisaje ficticio que se materializa a través de la apropiación de citas de otros artistas creadores de islas. A través de este proceso, se concluye que la investigación artística es un género narrativo de ficción. This exhibition is the core of the thesis titled Ídem de ídem: Metafiction of artistic research in the insular ecosystem. It is an artistic research project that grants the book format—the thesis—the status of an artwork, from which to articulate an inquiry around the concepts of metafiction and insularity—the isolation/interconnection inherent to islands. From this position, the project lays the groundwork for a fictional landscape that materializes through the appropriation of quotations from other artists who create islands. During the lockdown months of the 2020 pandemic, I built a 1:10 scale miniature of the rental room I was living in. This seemingly absurd act of meticulously replicating the space that confined me became the method I found to preserve my sanity. Para entender la experiencia escapista vivida durante la creación de la pieza La habitación, realicé un fotoensayo con el que profundizar sobre el medio, la metodología y la práctica artística durante el aislamiento. El resultado es una obra teatral compuesta íntegramente a través de la apropiación de citas extraídas de los libros reproducidos a escala en la miniatura, siguiendo la metodología designada por Guy Debord &amp; Gil J. Wolman como «détournement» y más tarde como «détourage» y «montage» por Nicolas Bourriaud. Una metodología que me gusta llamar Frankentexto: una obra de ficción creada a partir de segmentos de otros textos, cuya composición -como Frankenstein-, tiene que conseguir hablar por sí misma. To understand the escapist experience lived while creating the piece La habitación, I conducted a photo-essay in which to delve into the medium, methodology, and artistic practice during isolation. The result is a theatrical work entirely composed through the appropriation of quotes extracted from the books reproduced to scale in the miniature, following the methodology designated by Guy Debord &amp; Gil J. Wolman as «détournement» and later as «détourage» and «montage» by Nicolas Bourriaud. Ampliados con una lupa parecen un gran paisaje: nuestro paisaje. The Kitchen recreates the atmosphere of the kitchen during the mornings at the Gil Artist Residency in Akureyri. It consists of a looped projection—like a GIF—showing the scene from the window: a melting icicle and the sound of a shovel digging into the snow. To the right of the projection, a drawing of the kitchen and a hanging towel help to frame the space. Opposite, on a plinth, lie the remains of breakfast. El título del proyecto [Tierra, sol, mar, luna y más tierra y papá] es el mismo que el de una pintura que estuvo expuesta en el Museo de Arte de Akureyri durante la exhibición Sköpun bernskunnar [La creación de la infancia]. During my stay in Akureyri, I kept everything I loved: stones, plants, bones, and photographs, which I used to create this mural painting, taking advantage of a gallery wall whose format recalled a large-scale canvas. The work consists of a series of paper sculptures and a video of clouds reflected on frozen water, where time moves forward and backward in a loop.
